My client are looking for a pro-active, creative and results orientated L&D Manager to support the function across the business. The key to the success of this role is to be a great relationship builder, collaborator and facilitator. This role will be responsible for implementing talent development initiatives across the business, and having the opportunity to play an integral part of shaping the future of the business. This role will report into the Head of HR.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Management of the end-to-end learning cycle. Leading on the design, delivery, and audit of new and existing L&D interventions
  • Research, develop, and plan cost effective learning programmes, development initiatives and frameworks
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business, as well as the senior management team, to identify development needs and ensure the delivery of strategically aligned L&D solutions
  • Use of adult learning theory to design and deliver inclusive workshops that appeal to a range of learning styles
  • Source and manage third-party training providers to support the design and delivery of existing and new projects as they arise
  • Ensuring the application and effectiveness of learning, with a key focus on the transfer of learning to the workplace to improve performance
  • Evaluating and evidencing the impact of learning solutions on business and individual performance
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, driving engagement through clear communication of all L&D initiatives to the business
  • Lead on the research, development, and implementation of a learning management system to improve the employee learning experience across all levels
  • Ensuring that our L&D offering continually evolves and is in line with the latest thinking on L&D practice and methods
  • Maintaining training records and associated trackers
  • Management of the L&D Budget

Key Experience/Skills:

  • Knowledge of end-to-end, design and delivery of L&D programmes
  • Experience of managing a learning budget
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of seniority and experience
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent Relationship Building abilities across all levels
