Permanent - National HR Manager - St Helens - Full Time - Travel required -

Your new company

My client is seeking a professional National HR Manager to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
You will be working for a Global organisation with offices around the UK and Europe. The company specialises in telecommunication products and are going through a large period of growth.

Your new role

Based on site in St Helens but offering a hybrid model once you have built your stakeholder relationships this is a very exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR Manager to join an expanding business.
The organisation have x 3 UK companies based in different locations, St Helens, Swindon & Lincoln, travel will be required across the sites 2-3 times per month.
You will report directly to the group HRD who is based in France and work very closely with the Operations Director & CEO based in St Helens.-
You will act as the key support to local Managing Directors and to the development of the business, acting as a true business partner
You will be involved in strategic and tactical matters together with the operational teams and will need to come from an industrial / Manufacturing background-
Adept at applying and adapting group policies and also put in place new policies and HR procedures
There will be a strong focus on recruitment and the coordination of recruitment strategy across the business
Working with line managers to coach and empower them to support and manage their teams
Support the implementation of Communication and Engagement interventions and evaluate effectiveness including employee opinion survey
Identify training needs and roll out training and development courses using internal and external resources Prepare the annual budget and follow actual figures
Ensure compliance with local laws and rules

What you'll need to succeed

CIPD Level as a minimum
Strong HR Manager experience ideally as National Level
Industrial background
