Senior HR Business Partner

My client is looking for a seasoned senior HR business partner for an 18 month FTC. They are looking for a strong individual who is able to manage multiple projects that come with different pressures, someone who has had extensive ER case experience. They are looking for someone who can quickly build strong rapport with all stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

Work closely with the leadership teams to ensure strategic aims and objectives are supported and achieved by an aligned, innovative and effective HR plan including the incorporation of wider HR strategy, project and initiatives.

* Proactively lead, coach and manage the HR functions in the provision of an effective business partnering service across the business.

* Act as a senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases

* Provide senior advice and support to both senior line managers and employees in all aspects of the employee lifecycle including,

* Ensure the effective implementation and delivery of the Company's people strategy, plans, and initiatives

* Proactively lead, manage and successfully deliver complex cross functional people projects across the organisation within specific timeframes.

* Assist in the review, development and successful implementation of progressive people policies, processes and plans that will drive, and enable continuous engagement.

* Lead on the implementation of continuous people improvement initiatives

* Utilise people data and analytics to measure trends and patters to influence the effectiveness of our people policies and plans.

* Assist in the development of innovative people initiatives that will enhance employee wellbeing and improve performance under an overarching ED&I (Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion) scope.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, including directors, senior managers, line managers and employees.

* Write and present formal reports up to and including Executive level as required in relation to specialist and generalist subject areas.

* Be responsible for your own professional and personal development, whilst keeping up to date with current practice and employment legislation. * Duties vary from time to time within the broad remit of this role.

* Supporting the Human Resources Director on key projects including developing a high performing culture and shaping and implementing an organisation wide approach to talent and succession.

* Support the development of the site HR team by acting as a mentor and coach for team members whilst sharing experience and knowledge and developing their skills.

* Support Senior Directors in analysing data results and identifying themes and trends from both employee engagement surveys and other data sources.

Experience:

* A minimum of 10 years' experience working as a senior HR generalist at senior management level.

* Experience of successfully managing an HR team within a business partnering model and delivering successful outcomes.

* Demonstrable success of working in partnership to deliver and implement innovative people solutions that meet business needs, within a busy working environment.

* Experienced within both operational and strategic HR advice and service delivery.

* Experience of leading and delivering complex people projects and initiatives to specific deadlines.

* Experienced in transformation and change programmes, including restructuring, redundancy consultation, variation of contracts and TUPE transfers.

* Experience of successfully developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that meet both ongoing and future business needs.

* Excellent knowledge of employment law coupled with a pragmatic approach.

* Proven ability and track record of dealing effectively with employee relations issues.

Skills:

* Highly experienced in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

* Effective knowledge and application of employment legislation and current HR best practice.

* Able to coach, support, challenge and mentor others successfully.

* Able to identify potential risks issues and provide effective HR business advice and support.

* Able to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes.

* Resilient, with the ability to manage and deliver on a time high work volume, multiple and varied tasks, and to prioritise with conflicting priorities within a busy professional environment

* Accurate with a strong attention to detail.

* Able to apply a commercial approach

* Proactive, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.nced in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

* Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills.

* Good initiative taker.

* Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritize work whilst dealing with high volume issues, changing priorities and tight deadlines.

* Proven ability to engage constructively with colleagues at all levels across different departments to deliver objectives and to respond to a wide range of customer and management needs.

* A good team player with a hands-on approach, and adaptable to new challenges.

* Willingness to travel.
