The Recruitment Business Partner will be responsible for delivering the Talent and Recruitment strategy across designated business areas, and will ensure that all HR processes and procedures support the delivery of business strategies and goals.

The role will provide a proactive recruitment service, and will take the lead on all recruitment activities for the business, including resource planning, PSL management, and compliance administration.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a full recruitment service including liaising with external recruitment agencies and line managers
  • Ensure recruitment budgets have been agreed and approval is in place for all live vacancies
  • Support line managers in finding suitable candidates for all new vacancies
  • Manage the recruitment process planning for all roles in collaboration with recruiting managers
  • Lead on all recruitment activities including preparing adverts, posting to job boards, managing advert responses
  • Liaise with the Communications team to advertise vacancies internally via the website, intranet, and social media
  • Screen candidates in relation to their skills, work history, availability, location, and salary expectations
  • Coordinate interviews and all relevant assessments
  • Provide diary management for recruiting managers and senior stakeholders, as well as sending out calendar invites to candidates
  • Manage the PSL, including reviewing agreements, terms and conditions, and liaising with external recruitment partners
  • Provide support and guidance on immigration requirements and work visas
  • Conduct inductions and link with HR on new starters and onboarding processes
  • Manage relationships with universities
  • Write job role profiles, including making any amendments as and when required
  • Provide support on merger-related projects
  • Responsible for all recruitment administration

Profile

  • Previous experience in either an in-house or agency Recruitment or Talent Acquisition role
  • Knowledge or experience in Human Resources is beneficial
  • Excellent knowledge of recruitment processes and best practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of visa and immigration requirements
  • Excellent understanding of sourcing tools, including CV/ resume databases, job boards, LinkedIn/ social media, and online communities
  • Professional when dealing with candidates and internal and external clients
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Confident when communicating with senior leaders, with the ability to challenge appropriately
  • Excellent understand of employee benefits, and terms and conditions

Job Offer

  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
