HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor with a broad background of Employee relations in Bournemouth, Dorset


Our client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor who has a solid background of employer relations case work and supporting managers managing their people effectively.. This is an interim assignment initially until end of March 2023. Home Working with occasional need to visit Bournemouth HQ.
Key Responsibilities :

• Proactively manage and deliver employee relations casework
• Provide professional advice on all aspects of employee relations including absence management, grievance, disciplinary and performance management, escalating casework where appropriate
• Work closely with other HR colleagues and across services to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with Trade Unions to resolve individual cases and effective consultation on people related solutions
• Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation
• Coach, train and develop managers in good practice employee relations knowledge & skills

Specific Qualifications and Experience

• Part qualified CIPD
• Experience of employee relations in a unionised environment
• Previous experience of working within a Human Resources environment
• Demonstrate CPD and up-to-date knowledge of changes to case law, legislation and best practice

The role is offered on a temporary contract basis via Hays until end of March 2023, Home Working with occasional travel to HQ in Bournemouth.

Flexible working / full time preferred 37hours / possible to review options of circa 30 hours
