Job Details
Oakleaf Partnership Midlands are currently looking to recruit a Junior Employee Relations Adviser for a financial services firm to be based in Nottingham.
As a Junior Employee Relations Adviser, you will work closely with the People Team, and across all UK businesses. The ideal candidate will already have experience in a HR environment and will have the relevant experience. You need to be resilient, driven and focused on achieving results You will be responsible for partnering with local leaderships teams to implement HR programs and initiatives in line with our Global ER strategy (for the region). You will run the daily functions of the Employee Relations department including but not exhaustive to enforcing company policies and practices
Duties:
- Provide guidance on ER operational issues and initiatives to meet management needs and in accordance with D&G company and HR policies and procedures.
- To coach and support areas of the business on HR systems, processes, collaborating with the wider HR team as necessary to resolve issues quickly.
- Support Leaver processes
- Assist with delivering the ER strategy and plan and procedures, assisting in developing various human resources plans and procedures, assisting in the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures and ensuring effective communication of these policies and procedures.
- Handling non contentious employment related queries from employees and leadership, referring complex and contentious matters to team members.
- Participate in developing departmental goals and objectives
- Monitoring and supporting performance evaluation.
- Manage ER investigations where required and providing representation for ER at related meetings and hearings
- Maintain compliance with company policies a well as local employment laws and regulations, recommended best practice, reviews, policies and practices to maintain compliance
