HR Assistant, Leading Law Firm, Norwich/Hybrid, c£21,000-26,000 + excellent benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation is an award winning, national law firm with multiple offices across the East. They are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic HR Assistant, to be based out of their Norwich office on a 50/50 hybrid structure.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced, and established HR team. This role will provide excellent exposure across the generalist remit in a varied, and developmental manner.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will provide generalist assistance to the HR team within the Cambridge office (this role can be based from either Norwich or Cambridge), as well as working collaboratively with other assistants across the firm to ensure consistent processes. This role will have regular contact with the wider team and stakeholders, including payroll, systems, recruitment, ED&I, as well as partners.

You will assist administrative processes, including document collation, updating the database, and letter drafting, as well as assisting with the recruitment for the Cambridge branch. You will help update job descriptions, review CV's and organise interviews.

You will manage the induction process, insuring that new starters are issued onto the appropriate programmes, and that pre-employment checks are carried out.

You will also support payroll admin, issue performance management reminders, and support queries relating to absence.

Within this role, you will also encounter and support various other duties within the generalist remit.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be educated ideally to an A-level standard, and would greatly benefit from dedicated study within HR, and relevant prior experience. You will have good working knowledge of excel, amongst other software within the Microsoft package.

You will have a keen eye for detail, a quick work turnaround, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritising, and supporting where needed.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be approachable, proactive, inquisitive, and an ambitious self starter.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of c£21,000-26,000, 35 hour hybrid work offering (50/50), 25 days holiday +BH, potential yearly bonus, flexible benefits including holiday buy and sell, pension, 3x life assurance, amongst other benefits.
