A Financial Services firm, based in the City of London seeks a Learning and Development Business Partner - D&I will work closely with the UK Diversity and Inclusion Lead, the broader HR team and collaborate with key stakeholders, business leaders, and colleagues at all levels. This role will drive D&I programmes to ensure the broader strategy and organisational goals are met.

Description

Learning and Development Business Partner - D&I with the following key responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the UK Diversity and Inclusion lead, HR Colleagues and Managers identify and design new and different strategic and tactical learning interventions, approaches and channels to equip our people with knowledge, confidence and expertise within D&I.
  • Facilitate Diversity and Inclusion training, team workshops and bespoke interventions independently or as co-facilitator with the UK Diversity and Inclusion Lead/external partnerships.
  • Develop tailored diversity and inclusion learning programmes that align with our client's Business Plan and D&I strategy, integrate into business and talent processes and deliver impactful results in support of key business objectives.
  • Leverage data and metrics to measure progress and impact, inform our interventions and communicate priorities.
  • Partner with UK Diversity and Inclusion lead with D&I analytics, including bench-marking, tracking metrics, analysing and generating reporting for various audience to highlight trends and demonstrate impact of D&I programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a pulse on emerging diversity, equity and inclusion-related practices and trends through research, external networks and organisations and apply a strategic lens to continuously assess the learning and external partnerships our client should leverage as frameworks to advise and advance our D&I agenda
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and partnering with business leaders, especially as it relates to educating in how Diversity and Inclusion can impact their business/organisational needs and the subsequent needs of their teams to learn, grow and thrive.
  • Ability to present information using a variety of techniques such as face to face, online, classroom, role-playing, simulation, group dynamics, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lectures, and webinars.
  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating and guiding conversation at times that may be uncomfortable and challenging.
  • Provide counsel, knowledge and expertise acting as a subject matter expert with a view to building capabilities for HR and L&D Business Partners.

Profile

As the Learning and Development Business Partner - D&I you will have:

  • Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes in a variety of formats including eLearning (using Articulate 360 and CANVA), micro learning and live virtual and face-to-face workshops. As an advocate of diversity, and inclusion matters you will have an understanding of inclusive learning practices to ensure that your learning interventions enable the advancement of all our people
  • Strong L&D and Diversity and Inclusion experience, with a proven track record of facilitating learning interventions within D&I
  • Demonstrable progressive experience in Human Resources, including D&I programme management at a Senior Manager level or above
  • Knowledge and understanding of internal and external Diversity and Inclusion training practices and frameworks
  • Experience in implementing well-being initiatives would be an advantage
  • Strong listening and communication skills; experience presenting to, training and engaging audiences and facilitating dialogue at all levels
