As the Workday HRIS Manager for this global company, post 'go-live' earlier this year, you will now guide the design, maintenance and support of the Workday HCM application. You will manage a team of 4 focused on the day-to-day optimisation of Workday for the users, with an emphasis on design, configuration, data integrity and report writing.
You will have strong experience managing the optimisation and maintenance of the Workday environment.

Description

As the Workday HRIS Manager for this company in Bracknell, you will guide the design, maintenance and support of the Workday HCM application, more specifically around both internal and external integrations, security and performing system analysis and consulting with technology team members and other stakeholders to offer solutions using best practices as defined by Workday Methodology.

Scope of activities:

  • Manage day to day outsourced technology project delivery team; addressing service centre tickets, issues through effective plans and proper escalation; prepare development schedules and budget estimates.
  • Gather/document business requirements, data, and processes in order to create recommended solutions.
  • Design solutions to ensure data integrity, data quality, consistent technical architectural standards, process design and adherence to segregation of duties across HR technology platforms and solutions.
  • Provide support to the technical team in systems development and act as a liaison between functional support team and HRIS team.
  • Create test scripts, document test scenarios and perform testing activities.
  • Resolve issues and defects reported; executes standard software builds developed by software engineers.
  • Partnering with the HR Service Centre/HRIS to ensure technical and functional process documentation remains current; documentation will be in accordance with SDLC guidelines.
  • Provide subject matter expert on architecture / design of the current Workday system.
  • Review analysis and design done by other systems personnel, provide guidance and solution direction if required.
  • Develops systems standards and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness of the Workday environment.
  • A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change; the candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional, global/remote teams.

The client is open to the successful applicant working either fully remote or on a hybrid basis (with Bracknell as your office).

Profile

To apply for the role o Workday HRIS Manager, your profile will closely match:

* At least 5 years related HR systems experience.
* 2+ years of experience with Workday implementation, support and maintenance projects.
* Report creation using Workday Report Writer and a strong understanding of Workday configuration.
* Experience with global Workday implementations.
* Able to work in a self-directed environment, ability to take initiative and proactively improving processes. Able to present complex issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Must possess organisational, problem-solving skills and time management skills and be able to meet deadlines; must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Able to successfully lead a team of remote resources in support of the Workday environment; must work effectively in a self-directed environment, taking initiative and proactively improving processes with alignment from the key stakeholders.
* Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience; able to present complex issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
