I am currently recruiting a recruiter role for a highly regarded academic medical centre. If you have experience within clinical recruiting this could be the perfect fit for you.

Reporting to the Talent Business Partner for their specialist area, the Recruiter is responsible for managing the full end-to-end recruitment process for hires in their area, to consistently deliver the best talent in the market to this organisation.

The role will engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive relationship with them and providing support and guidance during the recruitment process. In a competitive market, it is imperative that the Recruiter consistently ensures that candidates have a positive experience during the recruitment process, irrespective of outcome, and that is aligned to the organisation's values.

The role will oversee candidate attraction, steer the recruitment selection process and support with a seamless transfer to post-hire compliance activity

Job responsibilities:

Candidate Attraction:

  • Source candidates through advertising supported by direct sourcing candidates from CV databases, social media, market research, referrals and similar pro-active candidate sourcing methodology
  • Engage with passive candidates to develop and maintain talent pools and talent pipelines
  • Support with Open Days, Job Fairs and similar recruitment events to engage talent
  • Engage with recruitment agencies when required to support sourcing candidates
  • Support Hiring Manager to develop and update job descriptions (JD's) and role requirements. Ensure consistency of approach in writing JD's and careful consideration of role requirements to target the correct candidate profiles and ensure that JD's are aligned to the candidate market
  • Align with the hiring manager to ensure adverts and JD's reflect the organisation's values and respect the Diversity & Inclusion agenda and are compliant with UK law and advertising best practice
  • Post jobs to Careers Website and where appropriate to job boards and LinkedIn

Selection Process:

  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive relationship with them and providing support and guidance during the recruitment process.
  • Always ensure candidates have a positive experience during the recruitment process, irrespective of outcome
  • Positively present the organisation as an employer to candidates, representing and reflecting our Values
  • Manage the candidate selection process on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platform
  • Paper and phone screen candidate applications, providing hiring managers with a suitable shortlist of candidates
  • Support hiring managers during the recruitment process, providing advice and guidance on recruitment best practice and market advice

Hiring & Compliance:

  • Send out offer letters and contracts of employment in a timely manner
  • Complete hiring process on ATS / HRIS platform
  • Ensure all hiring administration is completed prior to sending recruitment file into the Compliance Team for compliance checks

Work Experience:

  • In-house recruitment experience working as a Resourcing, Recruitment or Talent Specialist or in a comparable in-house RPO model
  • Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment life-cycle from candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, to offer management, supporting the recruitment of Clinical / Healthcare roles
  • Demonstrable track record of managing an individual job list, with a high volume of roles and consistently delivering to hiring targets
