The People Manager role is a first-time appointment in a small organisation experiencing rapid growth and change due to recent acquisition. The role is a great opportunity to create a real impact in the business, contributing to organisational and people growth initiatives

Description

Reporting into the off-site European VP of HR, the standalone People Manager will be responsible for the following;

  • Supporting all HR-related topics and key processes, from workforce budget to recruiting, performance management, development & learning, welfare & compensation
  • Enhancing and implementing the recruiting strategy to attract and hire best in class candidates for positions in UK across multiple functions including (but not limited to) sales & operations, finance & accounting, marketing and technology
  • Contributing to develop and execute Organisational & People Growth initiatives and projects (e.g. Employee Satisfaction survey, talent development, succession plans, implementation of HR Global Guidelines & Policies, training initiatives, etc)
  • Acting as a point of reference on HR-related issues for all the colleagues in UK&IL (around 60 people), located in Lancashire and London
  • Monitor and identify learning needs, as well as executing learning and programs; measure and track learning and training performances

Profile

The ideal candidate will be an existing HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, with demonstrable experience within an SME high-growth organisation, and ideally have experience of setting up an HR function. This is a standalone operational generalist role.

The People Manager must be able to demonstrate experience within;

* Recruitment lifecycle
* Employee Relations management, and upskilling of leaders to self-manage
* Driving a positive culture and engagement
* Implementation of Learning and Development initiatives
* Implementation and maintenance of Policies & Procedures
* Knowledge of current employment law legislation

Job Offer

A salary of up to £45,000 plus annual bonus and benefits

The role is site-based, and adhoc travel to London or other local and international sites to attend meetings or events is a requirement of the role
