Job Details

We have a new opportunity for a L&D Manager to join the friendly and high performing People team within a US law firm. The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for the full L&D agenda in the London office, working alongside a talent manager and a broader global team.


  • Working closely with Partners, PSLs and suppliers to plan and produce training and development programmes
  • Managing core skills programmes for trainees, associates and business services departments
  • Collaborating with the global professional development team to implement leadership programmes aligned to high profile business schools and global programmes e.g. associate orientation
  • Developing and managing relationships with key learning and coaching vendors including exam and training providers
  • Creating and managing the PD budget


  • Demonstrable relevant experience in legal L&D or a legal fee earner background with some exposure to managing professional development
  • Excellent presentation skills and willingness to get involved in delivery if required
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent, coaching qualification would be advantageous
