We are recruiting a Group Payroll Manager, to lead the payroll team in all matters payroll, provision and services delivery both nationally and internationally. As Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for directing, developing and the overall performance of the team within the group to ensure a customer focused, accurate and efficient service delivery is of a professional standard.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the payroll function, ensuring compliance of all financial and legal requirements, responsibilities and statutory obligations for the group. You will also be responsible for ensuring internal and external audit requirements are adhered to and actioned in line with the Group Compliance Manager.
You will provide expert advice and be a point of contact for issues around employment tax, national/social insurance and student loan repayments, along with changed to payroll, pension and benefits legislations and the impacts on the Group and the Group entities.
As Group Payroll Manager, you will be liaising with and managing key stakeholders across the business and maintain relationships with external partners, along with colleagues in the People Team.
Person Specification:
- CIPP/Payroll Qualification or equivalent professional experience Experience of using SAP SuccessFactors.
Experience of managing a large payroll service within an organisational Group structure. (4000+) and delivery of multiple payrolls
- Experience of managing international/overseas payroll provision/services Experience of previously working in a high performing customer focused environment. Experience of working in an integrated HR and payroll environment Experience of managing teams including performance, coaching and mentoring to develop team members. Experience of all payroll work, including thorough working knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, SAP and redundancy calculations.
