Oakleaf North are delighted to be partnered with a global leading technology, media and entertainment brand in hiring a Reward Operations Manager based in Livingston, Edinburgh- 12 month FTC. This role is based in their new Group Reward Operations area, reporting into the Head of Group Reward Ops. This role is initially for a period of 12 months, salary up to £60k, hybrid working 2 days in the office.

Reward Operations is accountable for delivering compensation and benefits operations across the group, working closely with the Group Reward CoE to ensure delivery of both the day-to-day reward activity and the strategic objectives of the Reward CoE, from annual review cycles to annual benefits windows and compliance audits. This role will report into the Head of Reward Operations which is part of Group People Services. This role will work closely with both the Reward Operations teams and the Reward CoE and plays a key role in providing operational support to through the management of a team of Specialist People Coordinators who are responsible for processing a broad range of activities including Reward, Payroll, Global Mobility, Recognition, and general People Admin. Key to this role is ensuring that we are an agile team with a focus on cross skilling across all workflows.

What you'll do:

  • Effectively lead, manage, engage, develop and motivate your team to provide a first-class service
  • Proactively plan and manage resource levels to deliver against SLA's and Quality measures.
  • Using insight obtained through stakeholder feedback, SLA and performance reviews, right first time and quality checks ensure the Specialist Service is always as good as it can be
  • Ensure compliance in all processes and manage adherence to CRSA and audit controls.
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with senior leaders including Reward, Global Mobility, Benefits and Recognition.
  • Manage compensation quality assurance measures in line with direction of Head of
  • Work with the Reward Analyst in the Project Management delivery of annual salary review
  • Lead / manage compensation and mobility project work as necessary
  • Lead on banding changes for org change projects and providing direction to Co-ordinators when banding roles
  • Ensuring quality of data management & maintenance of Group Comp team data files
  • Using your knowledge of our systems and processes, look for ways to continuously improve our efficiency and service levels, leveraging technology and automation wherever possible
  • Using SMEs, online learning and the wider HR team, continually develop the coordinators to ensure they have the right knowledge, skills and expertise required to deliver a high-quality service.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive people management experience of leading a high performing HR Operational team
  • Reward experience gained through working in a reward team or through a Reward operational delivery role
  • Has previously led or managed all aspects of high-volume operational delivery function including Resource and Workload management, Continuous Improvement and Quality Framework Ability to motivate and inspire people to work towards a common goal
  • Proven track record of effective stakeholder management
  • A track record of using data and analysis to drive performance
  • Excellent knowledge of policies, process and employment legislation
  • Demonstrate a customer-first mindset, able to deliver an exceptional people experience without compromising efficiency.
  • Exposure to operating in a matrix, international environment.
