HR System Assistant, Legal Sector, Norwich, 12 Month Maternity Contract, c£23,000-27,000 + excellent benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation is an award winning, national law firm with multiple offices across the East. They are seeking a talented and enthusiastic profile to cover a 12-month maternity contract as a HR Systems Assistant, to be based out of their Norwich or Cambridge office on a 50/50 hybrid structure.

Your new role
Your role is to maximise the benefits of their latest system; PeopleXD, an integrated personnel, self-service, payroll, and online Recruitment HR system.

Reporting the the Senior HR Information Systems Manager, who is based out of Cambridge, you will explore a busy and challenging role, supporting the HR Team, and the wider internal client base.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their HR Systems team, an intrinsic part of their HR team where technology and data are at the core of delivering their outstanding client service. You will be the first point of contact for queries, and will liase with the software vendors in trouble shooting and resolving issues.

You will become established as a lead in a specific are of technical knowledge and competence, and assist with the delivery and roll out of items on the internal roadmap; including new functionalities, process improvements, and ongoing data management.

You will also encourage the learning and training of others, and support the creation of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation as required.

You will also support any other duties inclusive of the role.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have a good working knowledge of Excel (ideally pivot tables, Vlookups, and data manipulation), and have the ability to provide results with a quick turnaround.

You will be ideally educated to an A-level standard, and have a passion for data quality, and logic. You will be able to handle multiple tasks, prioritise, and utilise a logical and sensible approach to work.

Ultimately, you will be a self-starter, willing to take task accountability, have excellent communication skills.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of c£23,000-27,000, 35 hour hybrid work offering, 25 days holiday +BH, potential yearly bonus, flexible benefits including holiday buy and sell, pension, 3x life assurance, amongst other benefits.

No parking is offered on site, but the office can be accessed via public transport.
