Payroll & Benefits Officer - 45k - Part time & Permanent - City, LondonOur client is a leading business within financial services.

They are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Officer, to help assist with the processing of the London Office monthly payroll, and the administration of employee benefits and pension provisions. This position is on a part time basis and has flexibility of either 3/4 days per week, on a permanent basis.

As a Payroll & Benefits Officer, you will be overseeing duties such as;

  • Processing the monthly payroll for 260 high earner employees, ensuring the accuracy of all payroll reporting to employees, the Finance team, HMRC and other related bodies.
  • Conducting payroll and benefit induction training for all new joiners; providing guidance to non-UK nationals when first arriving in the UK about the UK tax system and employee benefits.
  • Acting as the point of contact and subject-matter expert for all payroll, pension and benefit queries from employees
  • Ensuring compliance with the Pension auto-enrolment regulations.

To be considered suitable for this role, you must have the following;

  • Our client has offices based across London, Asia, New York and Europe, however international experience is not essential for this role.
  • Minimum of five years' relevant payroll and benefits experience, ideally gained within the financial services sector or professional services.
  • Previous experience of using payroll software is essential, ie ADP as well as profound knowledge of Excel.
  • Have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and relevant pensions and auto-enrolment legislation.
  • Experience of running dual currency (GBP and USD) payrolls.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate flexibility and versatility
