HR Project and Audit Coordinator / HR Admin, 3 Month Temp, Remote/Kings Lynn, up to £30k (perm equiv.

Your new company
Hays are currently working in partnership with a sustainable premium-quality wood manufacturer. They are looking for a HR Project and Audit Coordinator / HR Admin to assist for a 3-month temporary period supporting their material audit processes.

Please note that this needs to be filled immediately, so short notice/immediate availability is essential.

Your new role
The main function of this role will be to short- termly support on an administrative basis, supporting their SEDEX audit processes (all can be taught). The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Upkeep of staff records across various systems and procedures, guaranteeing high standards of precision and effectiveness
  • Work with the team to continually enhance HR procedures to make them effective, meet their intended use, and adhere to GDPR rules
  • Ensure the timely and accurate compilation of files required for SEDEX reviews
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects, resourcing and onboarding processes and general HR admin operations

This is a 3 month temporary contract on a remote basis at 37.5 hours per week, you will very occasionally (with adequate notice) be required to attend site to support in audit reviews. Working hours can be made flexible to meet needs of business, with core hours being between 8:30- 5pm.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous administrative experience and ideally a basic understanding of both general HR functions and SEDEX processes. You'll also require a keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic mindset towards continuous improvement, through the learning of new processes and systems.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary equivalent of up to £30,000, standard holiday entitlement + BH, remote flexible working, amongst other benefits.
