Payroll Officer - £40,000 - £45,000 - City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be working with a leading retail bank who are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis.

Our client is offering hybrid working with a requirement of 3 days per week in the office.

The Role:

• Assists with checking of payroll activities such as starters, leavers, changes, processing payment and deduction.
• Maintaining payroll control records.
• Assist with the maintenance of the Employee and Manager Self Service modules.
• Ability to interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll.
• Identifies payroll anomalies and responds to queries.
• Responds to notifications from statutory agencies or others regulatory bodies in relation to former or existing employees.
• Assists the Deputy Payroll Manager with year-end processes including P11d's.
• Assist with managing upgrades, patches and configuration amendments of the Payroll/HR system.
• Responsible for management of system issues with Payroll/HR software provider.
• Assists with administration of iTrent HR/Payroll System, PAS P11D system.
• Assist with the creation and production of monthly Management Information reports required by the business and external stake holders.
• Work closely with internal MHR system consultant regarding system improvements, automation and efficiency's.

Skills required:

- Strong end to end UK Payroll knowledge.

- Strong excel skills.

- Team player.
