HR Advisor, Manufacturing Sector, Ipswich/Felixstowe, up to circa £30,000 + benefits including Study Support

Your new company
Your new organisation- a global specialist manufacturer, is looking to expand and introduce a HR Advisor into their office support team. With a growing site headcount of 150, this organisation is looking for an experienced or developing advisor to support the HR function, assuming a variety of duties from their current Compliance and Resource Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional looking to grow. You will develop, improve, and creatively influence the HR function through exciting initiatives, project work, and system introduction. Such projects may include recruitment, performance management, and the streamlining of HR admin and processes.

This organisation's parent company, with locations across Germany, Switzerland, the USA, and the UK, are excited to further develop this organisation and provide the opportunity for a HR Advisor to support the upcoming HR agenda.

The office function is supported by a head count of 20 and requires full office presence to ensure the effective and supportive delivery of the HR service.

This role offers CIPD study support if relevant.

Your new role
Within your new role, whereby you will report to the Group CFO and Managing director, you will support, run, and introduce the following responsibilities. You will support the streamlining of HR processes, carry out employee appraisals, and maintain database details and personnel files.

You will liaise with agencies on recruitment, and be a point of contact for all employees within the company, functioning as an advice line and support network. You will support organisational development through growth processes and projects, including the development of relevant HR metrics and data analysis.

You will also support the enhancement of the organisations HR effectiveness through planning, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies, programmes, and practices.

Importantly, you will provide and support consistent business focussed HR advice in respect of employee relations issues, ranging from disciplinaries, to more complex casework.

You will support orientation and training programmes, recommending and coordinating employee development strategies and qualification acquisition. Additionally you will support the business by recommending and introducing updates to HR policies and procedures.

This is an all inclusive role, where you will also function group admin, support the holiday approval process, and support 1-1's with staff and stakeholders.

This role is a critical component in supporting staff and the perfect opportunity for ambitious professionals to mould and support the development of the HR function.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be able to demonstrate a people-centric, ambitious, and creative approach to support level HR. You will have previous experience in a similar generalist role.

You will be motivated and determined to better organisational values, and ideally have experience within the manufacturing industry.

You will ideally have worked for a larger organisation, and have had exposure to all tasks including ER casework.

Fundamentally, you will be hands on, outward facing, and have competent administration skills.

It is desired that you are CIPD level 5 qualified and have a proven ability to thrive in a multicultural organisation.
