A proactive HR (People) Administrator to join a digital infrastructure business in a home-based role.
Your new company
My client is a growing SME with over 700 employees who offer a high standard of IT, communications and cloud services throughout the UK.
Your new role
Reporting to a HR (People) Operations Manager, this position will work alongside another HR Administrator as part of a wider team of 7.
Main responsibilities:
- You'll be the bedrock of the team, providing administration support across the full lifecycle of the team members (new starters checks, sickness absence queries to ad-hoc queries or leavers)
- Maintain their HRIS, Cascade. This means ensuring details are up to date, and accurate, or supporting with audits for example
- Process amendments to employment contracts
- Facilitate the onboarding checks for new starters with an external supplier. These checks consist of DBS, Reference and Right to Work checks
- Raise purchase orders and facilitate the set-up of new suppliers
- Build relationships with suppliers and all team members.
Working hours: 37.5 / week, Monday-Friday. 9am-5pm are standard working hours, but my client can offer flexible start / finish times to suit.
What you'll need to succeed
This role will suit someone with proven experience in a HR / People Administration role who is CIPD qualified (level 3 minimum). You must be confident using a HRIS (ideally Cascade), or have the ability to learn quickly.
You must be digitally savvy, be able to work well at all levels of business and have good attention to detail.

You will receive a salary between £23,000-£26,000 (DOE), 25 days holiday +BH's, holiday increasing every year to 30 days after 5 years service, option to buy holiday. You also get your birthday and 1 wellbeing day off too.
