An established and successful insurance company is looking for an interim Senior Internal Communications Specialist for a short term interim assignment. You will be responsible for developing the communications strategy to support the rollout of their culture programme and supporting the SLT with comms and engagement following a leadership event. You will also get involved with reviewing the current executive communication and enhance this for maximum effect. This is a fabulous project where you will utilise your skills to add value.

  • Length of contract - 3-4months
  • Salary - paying between £80,000 - £90,000
  • Remote or hybrid working

Accountabilities include:

  • Developing the internal comms plan for the culture programme and the SLT's strategic initiatives
  • Developing strong relationships within HR and the wider business to create effective communication strategies and effectively deliver these
  • Working collaboratively with HR to understand what relevant collateral to use, such as publications, videos, presentations, intranet site etc
  • Providing advice and guidance on the most effective way to engage employees
  • Identifying any communication risks and mitigating these

Skills & Experience

  • Must have gained the above comms experience within financial services, professional services or a large commercial organisation
  • Must have experience of working on HR communication projects such as, culture, engagement, OD, employee value propositions
  • Demonstrate knowledge of internal communications planning methodology
  • Professional writing and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple communication projects
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
