Job Details


As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment from writing job adverts to onboarding of new starters through the use of various job boards and the clients official website. You will also provide guidance and support regarding policies, procedures, employment legislation and so on.

The client, based in Yateley, is a high tech and engineering company which developed underwater technology.

Description

As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive and consistent HR advice, guidance and support to Managers and staff regarding the application of Company policies, procedures and practices and employment legislation requirements across the global business operations
  • Coordinating recruitment and selection activities utilising job boards, official website, the internal advertising process as well as liaising with recruitment agencies. Participate in some interviews and support hiring managers through the recruitment process
  • Delivery of induction for new starters
  • Organising and coordinating short work placements/apprenticeships
  • Providing support to HR Manager on ER processes and queries such as Disciplinary, Grievance, Maternity/Paternity, attendance, performance management, flexible working requests, probation extensions and undertaking exit interviews
  • Work closely with payroll and ensuring correct information is inputted into the 4 systems
  • Subject matter expert of internal system
  • Any adhoc administration duties (managing of inbox)
  • Assist in maintaining the HR Intranet site, uploading content and amendments, analysing and reporting internal customer feedback and providing creative suggestions to ensure the site establishes and maintains a reputation as a useful, informative and valuable source of information
  • Work with the HR Coordinator in the efficient administration of all offer letters and contracts and starter processes including referencing and right to work checks

Profile

The ideal candidate for the HR Advisor position based in Yateley will have:

  • Good working knowledge of HR Systems including an integrated HR and Payroll system
  • Recruitment experience
  • Proven ability to advise and guide managers and employees on core HR processes, procedures and practices such as attendance, selection, performance management, informal grievances
  • CIPD Level 5/7 would be ideal

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate:

  • FTC till December 2023
  • Salary up to £36,500
  • £1500 bonus end of contract
  • Hybrid working available 2 days minimum in office (need to be in office for meetings/interviews/important events)
  • Pension
