We are partnered with a well-established trading company in their search for an experienced HR Business Partner with a specialism in Employee Relations. You will be a trusted partner and subject matter expert on employee relations, regulatory legislation and contractual requirements to your client groups in EMEA, with a focus on building relationships. Initially on a 12 month fixed term contract there is the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align with client groups on the implementation of HR strategy on the implementation and delivery of HR initiatives in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure client groups understand their people challenges offering coaching and appropriate interventions
  • Advise on organisational design, restructures and change management activities identifying business risks.
  • Provide clear advice on all aspects of employment law issues including terminations; redundancy processes and settlement agreements
  • Provide support, development and coaching to managers on performance issues and dispute resolutions including performance improvement programmes
  • Development and delivery of a strong ER strategy in partnership with the ER Specialists aligned to business priorities
  • Provide problem resolution/support to HR Advisers, HR leadership team and business leaders for all complex ER matters;
  • Manage the internal processes for disciplinaries, grievances and complaints via preparing, reviewing case related documentation and reporting any recommendations and conclusions escalating as necessary
  • Effectively manage key internal stakeholders particularly the interaction with Compliance and Legal functions

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations is essential
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practice HR policy in relation to misconduct, employee grievances, employee sickness/health & wellbeing, performance
  • Hands on experience of dealing with business restructure and implementation of business strategy and culture.
  • A confident and client focused approach and focus on building relationships as a trusted advisor in a fast pace and demanding environment.
  • CIPD qualified is beneficial
