Permanent - HR Manager - onsite - Chorley - Immediate start - Full Time -

Your new company

My Client a leading charity in the North West is seeking a people centric HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working for a Charity that strives to help and change the lives of the people it works with. They offer quality support to over 500 people with learning disabilities across the North West of England. The services that they offer include supported living; residential, nursing and respite care; supporting people with complex health and social needs; dementia care and transitional services including employment, social enterprise and volunteering options.

Your new role

The position is being offered as full time Monday - Friday and based on site in the Chorley offices.
You will be managing a small new team that consists of 1 HR Officer and x 2 HR Apprentices.
I am seeking a HR Manager who is very approachable and has a passion for coaching and developing their team.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to
Effectively lead manage and develop a high performing HR team and coach where necessary.
Support the development and delivery of all HR transactional/business processes and procedures
Ensure the HR Team deliver positive and co-ordinated service levels for stakeholders
Lead on the delivery and continuous improvement of electronic HR information and reporting systems
Conduct scheduled HR compliance audits, audit employee files, HR processes and systems and work with HR Business Partner to implement process efficiencies
Provide high level support in relation to employee relations and other casework e.g. disciplinary, grievances, absence management. To assist in the presentation at appeal hearings /employment tribunals

What you'll need to succeed

Strong HR experience at Management level or Senior Advisory level
A warm and approachable demeanour
Passions to coach and develop staff
String generalist experience
