Finance Trainer for well-known organisation in Cambridge, £30-40k + good benefits, hybrid working, 2 year FTC

Your new company
I am proud to be working with my well-known and established client in Cambridge who are seeking a Finance Trainer to join their Training Team which provides financial training to nearly 5000 staff as the business implements a Finance Transformation Project.

Your new role
As the Finance Trainer, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of learning solutions for staff who are responsible for a range of accounting and other financial activities across the business. This includes identifying and analysing training needs and opportunities, designing, creating and delivering digital, in-person and blended learning solutions.

You will have responsibility for line managing the Finance Training Assistant and will often work in partnership with subject matter experts to create tailored learning solutions. You will also be responsible for the Year End procedures and related training, as well as preparing the Finance System course programme.

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will have a strong background in training, able to deliver both in-person and online as well as 1:1 and to large groups. You will have experience with finance IT systems, ideally for large organisations. You will be able to undertake individual and organisational training needs analysis.

You will be able to design engaging learning programmes using a blended approach and create learning resources which utilise audio and video recordings, screen-casting and online assessment software.

You will be able to learn new systems and concepts quickly, and ideally possess a relevant teaching qualification or an accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT). You will be a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in MS Office.

What you'll get in return
In return, for this initially 2 year FTC, with likelihood of being extended, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000, 33 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, generous pension, on-site parking, and support for further qualifications and training. Hybrid working options with 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home.

This is an organisation that prides itself on its positive and supportive culture and its family-friendly nature and is a great opportunity for a finance specialist to get into training or for a trainer with an interest in finance and finance systems.
