HR Continuous Improvement Partner

Your new company
We are recruiting a continuous improvement partner for a large national engineering based client!


Your new role
You will lead and manage the HR policy, process and systems that make up the HR infrastructure across the UK and Ireland. This includes full ownership of the material, publication and guidance and training delivered to ensure compliance and understanding across the work force.

You will enable the "manager self-service" model, working in conjunction with HR business partners and third parties to provide guidance, best practice and compliance with our policies, processes and systems. You will act as the company's subject matter expert and specialist, leading change, continuous improvement, and innovation as to how the business needs can be met.

Key responsibilities
HR policy management

  • Own the content, publication and guidance delivered to the workforce
  • Run regular reviews of HR policies gaining input and feedback across both external and internal sources to check legal compliance, employee experience and inclusion across the work force
  • Provide guidance and best practice for the HR team and workforce via communication and training methods to ensure our standards are understood and met


HR process ownership and compliance

  • Employee life cycle - manage the third-party suppliers used to service these processes ensuring service levels are met and improvements continually reviewed and delivered
  • Compliance lead for HR processes for the HR function, continuous monitoring, and analysis to ensure the business is prepared for new changes and updated legislation
  • Support the business partner team with best practice and guidance on policy, process and systems to ensure best practice and compliance is met across each business function


HR Systems ownership

  • Manage the continuous development and delivery of the HR systems and infrastructure to serve the employee experience. This will include systems like the HR chat bot, and employee experience portal
  • Support the development of the regional strategic and HR infrastructure to ensure the people policies, systems and processes provide our workforce with timely, accessible and standardised material and information


Continuous Improvement/ Project management

  • Act as the change leader and local regional owner for system and process projects of new implementations
  • Identify and develop continuous development ideas and act as the change leader for implementing improved process, policy and systems for the region aligned to the people strategy





What you'll need to succeed
About you You will have good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels. Technical and analytical capability to drive data output and analysis from systems. As well as a strong understanding of commercial, legal and compliance activity relating to HR policy. Knowledge about employment law and labour market to provide continuous monitoring and support
