Resource Manager

A brand new opportunity for an experienced Resourcing (Staffing) Manager has been created with a growing global strategy and consulting firm. The Resourcing Manager will be part of a growing and evolving allocations team across Europe, responsible for matching requirements with the pool of available staff, then allocating consultants to client projects and development work as well as to internal projects. The Resourcing Manager will also support staff to build the required skills, exposure and experience they need to progress, via their allocations.

Duties include:

• Allocate consulting staff to client and internal project teams across Europe
• Enhance firm productivity by optimising workforce planning and people allocations
• Contribute to the career development and engagement of the consulting team through talent management and skills mapping
• Engage with key stakeholders to manage conflicts and deliver creative resourcing solutions where required
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver an integrated function across different geographies and sectors within the firm
• Prepare regular commercially focused management reporting, including utilisation, availability, headcount, and demand/supply gap
• Contribute to the development / management of junior members of the Resourcing team

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in a resource management/staffing/allocations, ideally within professional services
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• French/German language would be a bonus
