Hays is excited to represent a leading, multi-national, growing and developing logistics organisation who are seeking an HR Manager-12 Month FTC to join them in their busy sites in Northampton.
Your new role
As an HR Manager-12 Month FTC, you will report into the People Partner and manage a small HR team. This role is both hands-on and operational but will have strategic HR elements and you will lead or support with HR transitioning projects.
Duties will include:
Lead and develop the people team
Support in delivering the people plan
Manage any complex ER cases
Assist in the coaching, mentoring and development of the management team.
Assist with annual pay review/pay claims.
Support with guidance in the recruitment and selection process
Lead or support with HR projects
Use innovative approaches to streamline and improve processes and practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as an HR Manager, managing a small HR team, ideally within a commercial, fast-paced, blue collar environment. You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
