Assist in efficient and effective recruitment, HR, payroll and training & development service in accordance with company policies. Provide comprehensive administrative support through handling administrative tasks and working with various systems and processes.

Description

The key responsibilities of the HR Assistant based in Gatwick will be to:

  • To maintain and assist with the recruitment, onboarding and retention process
  • To collate and process the relevant paperwork for vacancies and ensure that the job requisition authorisation is in place prior to the post being advertised
  • To actively assist in the receipt of all pre-employment checks e.g. DBS, health clearance, references, work permits, right to work
  • To issue authorised terms and conditions to new starters and change of contract letters to staff as they occur
  • To prepare onboarding and training packs for all new starters
  • To assist with the HR induction of all new staff
  • To schedule induction plans with relevant Managers for all new starters
  • To update the current HR online database with accurate information and to upload all new starters accurately
  • To ensure all systems are managed accurately and databases are kept up-to-date

Profile

The successful candidate for the HR Assistant role based in Gatwick will have:

  • Experience in a HR environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of HR processes including employee on-boarding; reference checking; induction programme administration and ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Ability to take meeting notes and minutes
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates drive, commitment and a desire to learn and progress

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate for the HR Assistant position based in Gatwick will be:

  • Salary up to £25,000
  • Full time position
  • 37.5 hrs per week, Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
