Hays Human Resources are delighted to be partnering with this market leading Manufacturer located in North Lincolnshire, in their recruitment of a HR Advisor. This role is permanent, full time and offers both hybrid and flexible working.

Your new role
Working as part of the Central HR Operations team, you will support business leaders in the delivery of effective and efficient people processes.

In this role, you will support with the day to day HR activity in order to help enhance the performance and output of individuals and teams in alignment with business goals and objectives.

As a HR Generalist, you will be heavily involved in a large portfolio of activities including first line queries on ER, absence and performance management, supporting with disciplinaries, grievances and reorganisation.

In this position, you will be providing advice and proactive recommendations to managers on employment matters and working with them to resolve issues.

You are accountable for reviewing and creating draft policies and processes, advising line managers on practical application and ensuring compliance with legislative change

You will also be involved in all aspects of maintaining and developing good relationships with Union Representatives to ensure union agreements are collaborative, including day to day liaison with Union reps regarding ER cases.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a fast-paced role within a busy environment and therefore demonstrable experience in a similar generalist role, including HR casework such as disciplinary, grievance, reorganisation and absence management is essential.

You must be capable of balancing multiple priorities and delivering on all aspects as required in accordance with relevant company processes.

Ideally, you will have achieved or will be working towards CIPD Level 5 and you will preferably have experience in a similar manufacturing environment with Trade Union recognition,
