Working as Workforce Equality and Culture Lead the purpose of the role is to drive forward our clients organisational development, workplace culture and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) goals.
Our client is the largest funder of the UK's heritage. The projects they fund create lasting and positive change for people and communities. Central to this is the belief that heritage has a crucial role to play in contributing to a more equal society.
As Workforce Equality and Culture Lead, you will be a key member of the HR senior team, supporting the Director of HR and their team in embedding culture, values and behaviours, in addition to our client's EDI ambitions.
The role will involve close partnership working with colleagues in HR leading the development of new systems, processes and policies ensuring that opportunities for driving forward values, behaviours and workforce diversity are maximised.
Collaboration outside HR will also be key and partnerships will need to be developed with colleagues leading on overlapping EDI initiatives focusing on supporting customers, stakeholders and business processes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record driving and delivering EDI, Culture and Engagement related activities through a variety of channels including; recruitment, talent & succession planning, apprenticeships and work placements, employee engagement and inclusion.
As Workforce Equality and Culture Lead, you will be passionate about EDI and focused on driving and delivering targeted activities which support our clients EDI agenda while simultaneously creating an engaged and inclusive culture and workforce.
Experience within the Not For Profit and Charities sector / Public Sector would be advantageous but not essential

Location: Any of the offices in UK except for London. Offices locations include; Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Cambridge, Belfast.
