Your new company

Your new role
This is an excellent generalist HR role where you will use your HR knowledge to the full and have a degree of autonomy.

Your new role as HR Business Partner will be to support the Senior HR Business Partner in providing a high level of HR support to a specified region/division. You will lead on supporting the business areas and delivering the People Agenda via coaching and developing others.

You will have responsibility for a HR caseload - supporting with the resolution of employee relations issues and advising leaders on HR-related matters and policies within the business.

Working with and challenging Senior Managers to identify opportunities for organisational design improvements that contribute towards organisational strategy and objectives. Also support leaders in building robust and effective talent and succession plans, ensuring a pipeline of talent across the business function from a mixture of internal and external recruitment.

Build and develop positive working relationships with Trade Union representatives and promote collaborative working at all levels across the organisation.

Other areas of responsibility will be:
Monitor, review and update HR policies and processes, ensuring these are in line with current legislation, meaningful and user-friendly.
Use data to identify trends, inform decisions, and proactively provide up-to-date people data and business intelligence.
Facilitate and deliver training and workshops on different HR topics.

This role is hybrid you can manage your own diary to visit sites 30%-50% of the time (depending on workload)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior/HR Advisor to work for a large multi-site company and further upskill in the HR arena.

What you'll need to succeed
2-3 years' experience working as a Senior/ HR Advisor or current Business Partner within a mixed blue/white collar trade unionised environment.
Ideally CIPD Level 5
Excellent communication skills
Good IT skills
Be based in either the South Yorkshire or Nottinghamshire areas - nearest head office being Doncaster or Nottinghamshire - with some regional and UK travel - managing your own diary
