As HR and Engagement Coordinator you will coordinate employee engagement initiatives in line with overall HR strategy, and generate posters, flyers, brochures and presentations for both internal and external HR communications.

Description

The key responsibilities of the HR and Engagement Coordinator in Twickenham will be:

  • Creating monthly company newsletter; obtaining contributions from each department, finding 'filler' content (quizzes, images, facts), ensuring it's vibrant, on-brand and easy to read
  • Creating a calendar of events, awareness days and holidays, and suggesting ideas for communications and activities around them
  • Creating and coordinating a calendar of social activities for all office locations
  • Regularly updating the office blackboard and noticeboards
  • Overseeing corporate volunteering opportunities
  • Updating the software used for employee engagement surveys (CultureAmp), ensuring all data is correct and generating reports for stakeholders when needed
  • Setting up and launching employee engagement surveys, including 'pulse' surveys
  • Analysing engagement surveys to identify patterns, and working closely with the rest of the HR team to define actions
  • Delivering diversity and inclusion initiatives (e.g., drafting progressive company policies, identifying improvement opportunities, generating reports for management)
  • Assisting with interviews to assess candidate suitability from a company culture perspective
  • Working with the HR & Recruitment Coordinator to review exit interviews and consider improvement opportunities
  • Creating promotional materials to encourage awareness of employee resources and benefits
  • Overseeing the holistic 'user experience' for employees, ensuring that all software and documents they interact with are functional, easy-to-use, and well designed
  • Managing the HR content on the company intranet to ensure it's up-to-date, visually appealing and informative
  • Conducting ad-hoc 121s with employees at all levels to gauge 'hot topics' and encourage ongoing verbal feedback
  • Organising and running focus groups in line with HR strategy
  • Liaising with the Executive Assistant and Receptionist to make improvements to workspaces

Profile

The successful HR and Engagement Coordinator in Twickenham will have:

  • Excellent SharePoint or general system experience (essential)
  • Ideally previous HR experience and/or a CIPD qualification in HR practice
  • Excellent written communication and superb attention to detail in both formal documentation and informal communications
  • A strong eye for design, preferably with experience using Canva
  • Creative and innovative; someone who enjoys brainstorming
  • Friendly, approachable and discreet
  • Structured and organised, able to manage the competing demands of a varied HR role
  • Committed to continuous improvement, and collaborating with other departments to suggest and promote new ideas
  • Willing to regularly travel to other office sites (approximately every 3-4 weeks)

Job Offer

On offer for the successful HR and Engagement Coordinator:

  • Salary up to £30,000
  • Permanent position
  • 37 hours a week
  • Mon-Thurs 8:15 - 5pm/ Fridays 8-3pm
  • 25 days holiday + BH
