Our NHS client is recruiting a permanent Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager to be based at their HQ office in Crawley on a hybrid basis. Reporting into the Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, you will be joining a team of 3 other professionals to lead on the ED&I agenda and focus on some project work.
Your new role
As a Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, you will provide professional leadership, vision and direction for the Diversity and Inclusion programme function. Develop, deliver and manage highly effective Diversity and Inclusion strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements and NHS standards, pertaining to all aspects of these agendas for the Trust. To be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality services, ensuring a coordinated approach that is responsive to the needs of the organisation and its people. The programme manager is responsible for: planning and designing the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion programme and proactively performance managing and monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action, managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and managing risks to the programme's successful outcome
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in the role, you must have proven experience within the ED&I space with extensive knowledge of specialist areas within the public sector or NHS. You must have significant experience of leading and delivering complex change, service improvement initiatives and long-term strategy development programmes in a politically sensitive environment.

In return you will receive a salary of £46,500-£54,500 (Band 8a) plus 27 days annual leave, NHS pension, NHS staff discount, excellent training and hybrid working (50% of the time in the office)
