Client Details
A Brighton employer of choice are looking to recruit a full time permanent Intelligence Researcher.
Description
As Intelligence Researcher you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the processing of information received into the Intelligence Team, evaluating its relevance and reliability, making recommendations for onward dissemination and ensuring it is available for further exploitation.
- Undertake research to produce intelligence and/or inform analytical products, including collecting, collating and evaluating information from a wide variety of sources
- Prepare, deliver, and provide briefings on research summaries and findings, to clearly and accurately inform decision making and/or facilitate analysis
- Support the identification and development of new sources and methods of research to ensure that intelligence products reflect latest methodologies and best practice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and partners, such as liaising with other agencies, in order to support information sharing.
- Provide administrative support to all areas of the Intelligence Team, including the organisation of meetings and minute taking.
- Adhere to all legal frameworks, internal procedure, business rules, and policy and guidance relevant to the role
Profile
- Experience in collecting, collating and evaluating information from a variety of sources including the interrogation of open and closed sources.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of working in line with robust governance and risk assessment processes, and ensuring the security of sensitive material.
- Willingness to be security cleared (SC level)
