The Opportunity
A large organisation in Worcester is recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
This will be working alongside a team of payroll administrator (4) and reporting into a Payroll Manager
This is a newly created role due to continuing company growth
This is a permanent opportunity paying £24.000 - £28.000 plus benefits
2 - 3 days a week on site
Key Activities
●Aid the payroll manager in the running of the monthly payroll
●Calculating manual payments and understanding of tax/NI/pension deductions
●Inputting Gross/Net multiple element data onto the payroll system
●Investigating and pro-active thought process with pay queries
●Setting up new starters and leavers
●Processing statutories, ie. SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP
●Liaising with HMRC
●Processing P45's, P60's, P11D's
●Other general payroll duties
●Experience of start to finish payroll processing
●Support and knowledge of the auto-enrolment pension scheme
●Knowledge of LGPS administration and application would be an advantage

Person specification
Start to finish experience in payroll administration (not bookkeeping)
Exp. of gross to net calculations
Up to date payroll legislation
An interest in studying CIPP or already CIPP qualified
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
