HR Administrator | Leeds City Centre | Up to £25,000 | Hybrid| Temp - 3 months

Your new company

A legal organisation based in Leeds City Centre is seeking a HR Administrator to come on-board, joining their welcoming, collaborative team. A role that will provide excellent exposure to the HR world for an enthusiastic HR professional.

Your new role

Within your new role, you will assist the HR and L&D Teams to provide a professional and efficient service to the partners and staff and to comply with procedures and regulatory and legal obligations The main task for this role is to undertake accurate and complete administration and record keeping for the teams.

Administration includes:

  • new starters, which includes preparing job description and contracts, pre-employment checks, references, arranging inductions, and sending pre-boarding and on-boarding communications
  • Liaising with Managers on leave date, updating all systems, and complying with our Leavers procedures.
  • Database Administration: ie, maintain all HR records for staff (using Cascade HR system), inputting of new employees, daily recording of sickness absence, appraisal completion recording, holiday queries, maternity etc.
  • Learning & Development, including booking external and in-house courses; scheduling, room bookings, catering, attendees, course notes and feedback forms and keeping Cascade Training records up to date.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in an administrative HR position
  • A Levels to Grade CCC standard or above
  • Good PC skills including a high working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
