A Financial Services firm based in the City of London seeks an Interim Project Manager: Performance Management (VP) -Inside IR35 and PAYE - to help design the performance experience for our client in EMEA, covering

  • performance alignment (goal setting)
  • performance improvement (feedback and coaching); and
  • performance measurement (to enable the delivery of differentiated reward outcomes)

Description

An Interim Project Manager: Performance Management (VP) to:

  • Project manage / facilitate the overall performance experience design project ensuring that milestones and key deadlines are met
  • Provide SME input to ensure project team members have access to: best practice performance experience insights; guidance on how SF technology can enable the performance experience; appreciation of how the performance experience could provide data to support a range of People and Management processes in the Bank.
  • Encourage the adoption of design thinking / human centred design principles by the project team
  • Stakeholder management and engagement with the project
  • Co-ordination of all relevant work streams and their inputs to the design process
  • Ensure that all supporting documentation (policies, processes, practices, guidelines) are prepared in advance of the implementation of the new performance experience approach
  • Reporting and associated Governance are completed in timely fashion

Profile

An Interim Project Manager: Performance Management (VP) with:

Knowledge:

  • Expert in performance enablement / management design
  • Expert in SuccessFactors Performance and Goals, Calibration and Reward Management modules
  • Good understanding of approaches to Reward and the links to the performance cycle

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Design Thinking / Human Centred Design principles
  • Business partner with a customer centric approach
  • Strong intellect with the ability to create a clear line of sight between organisational priorities and the proposed performance management design
  • Ability to build trust, be credible and 'hold their own' at different levels, within and outside the organisation.
  • Consultative style along with the determination and patience to achieve results.
  • Constructively critical with the desire to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent project management and facilitation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Webex platforms, LMS (Successfactors), MS Office
  • Experience of managing successful projects on time, to budget and to high quality levels.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality outputs.
  • Experience of creating an inclusive environment and working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.
  • Acts with highest standards of integrity and fairness to colleagues and clients.

Experience:

  • Proficient in all parts of the performance and reward cycle and having be closely involved with the design and implementation of a new performance enablement approach
  • Designing to ensure SuccessFactors functionality is fully exploited
  • Working in collaboration with external vendors as required
  • Introducing new initiatives and processes into a diverse and geographically dispersed organisation
  • Working alongside and influencing people from diverse backgrounds

Qualifications:

Appropriate academic credentials and/or career track record demonstrating substantial experience within performance and reward

Job Offer

A competitive day rate, inside IR35 and PAYE, depending on skills/experience.
