The Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) Project Lead will contribute towards the development of a professional and creative learning and organisational development offering that responds to the demands of a growing organisation.

Client Details

My client is a leading Public Sector organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Support talent strategies and frameworks that enable workforce planning, workforce development and succession planning
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders across the organisation to embed the learning strategy, to deliver the mission and business objectives in line with core values
  • Design, develop and deliver L&OD interventions that form part of the HR Strategy
  • Evaluate learning and development interventions using a range of evaluation models, tools and techniques and using insights, feedback and learning to ensure continuous improvement and inform decision making
  • Support team members ensuring that they are motivated and contribute towards delivering a high quality and innovative L&OD offering
  • Work with a range of internal stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of L&OD requirements
  • Manage and develop constructive working relationships with a range of external partners, organisations, and suppliers in order to contribute towards a best practice L&OD offering
  • Contribute towards creating a learning organisation and creating a coaching culture by working with colleagues and supporting line managers
  • Embed learning from a range of development interventions to enable highly motivated and high performing teams
  • Work in partnership with Internal Communications colleagues to design and deliver highly effective communications and engagement plans

Profile

  • Experience of working at a senior level within learning and development and/ or organisational development
  • Experience of supporting team members to deliver high quality work and outcomes in line with organisational priorities
  • Extensive experience of designing, delivering, and evaluating learning, talent, and organisational development interventions
  • Experience of working with a range of external partners
  • Knowledge and experience of designing evaluation tools and techniques to understand the impact of learning and organisational development initiatives
  • Experience of developing highly effective working relationships with a broad range of colleagues, both internally and externally
  • Experience of working in an organisation undergoing a lot of change
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Quick-thinking and adaptable, able to juggle a variety of tasks at any given time
  • Ability to work collaboratively within HR and with key stakeholders across the organisation

  • Interim role - 6 months
  • £350 day rate
  • Hybrid working model
