HR Systems Specialist, Manufacturing Sector, Kings Lynn/Hybrid, 6 month FTC, circa £28-37k + benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation, a global manufacturing specialist, is looking for an enthusiastic HR Systems specialist for a period of 6 months, to support an existing role and implement process improvements inline with their new system introduction.

Working within their shared service team, and reporting into the Group HR Manager, you will support a crucial role, removing inefficiencies in their current processes, and focussing on using their new system to automate data. Fundamentally, this role involves data extraction, first line advice, and system support.

This role is to be carried out on site at either their Kings Lynn or Boston premises for at least 3 days a week, with 2 days of optional hybrid.

This role is offered as a 6-month FTC.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will take pride in the ownership of your own work. You will work proactively and with initiative, completing tasks as required, and when recognised. You will provide competent first line support, and support managers and employees across the business. Your role will handle the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining employee records across multiple systems and processes, ensuring high data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Working with the team to continuously improve HR processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose, and in line with GDPR regulations
  • Supporting the team with the ongoing implementation on their new payroll and HR system
  • Working on specific HR data related projects
  • Working closed with the HR Manager to develop and deliver timely data extractions, and managing data transfers
  • Providing basic HR support, as relevant to your remit
  • Any other duties as relevant to the role

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it is essential that you have a strong process mindset with the ability to anticipate, understand, and plan for interactions between multiple systems. You will be a self-starter, who is able to handle queries independently, escalating where appropriate.

You will have excellent organisation skills, and be able to work collaboratively and independently.

You will have excellent knowledge and application of the MS Office Suite and be able to automate processes and utilise workflows. You will also be a proficient user of HR Information Systems (preferable Workday).

You will have a basic understanding of HR, and have a good knowledge of employment law.

Importantly, you will be able to foster a positive relationship with the wider management team, and work with efficiency and professionality.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary (experience dependent) of circa £28-37k, 25 days annual leave (+BH, pro-rated to 6 months), contributory pension, and access to numerous voluntary employee benefits.
