Job Details
We are currently working with an international banking client who are looking for an HR Assistant to join the busy HR team on a 12 Month fixed term basis with the potential longer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a foot in the door as a first step into a career in HR. You will learn from the ground up, getting exposure across the entire employee lifecyle. This role will be varied and fast pace, and will be actively involved in the smooth running of the HR function and administration.
Overview:
- Provide HR administration support across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with the HR Analyst and HR Business Partners
- Accurately maintain the HR information system and other databases & spreadsheets with all employee data, pulling reports as required.
- Drafting communication e.g. new starter contracts, employee administration, internal movers administration and fully responsible for
- Ensure all new joiners complete their on-boarding documentation including background checks and references
- Upkeep all GDPR legislation in regards to employee records
- Build good relationships with all stakeholders at all levels and provide a high-quality HR service at all times
- Monitor the HR inbox escalating to the appropriate colleague
- To support the wider HR team with ad-hoc HR projects
Key Skills:
- A keen passion and interest in HR as a long term career with the eagerness to learn
- Previous experience in administration
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Confident communication style to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines and work in fast pace environment
- Degree in Human Resources would be beneficial
