Oakleaf is supporting this brilliant, high growth, life sciences strategy consulting firm with the hiring of an HR Director into their successful business. The business has grown consistently and rapidly since conception, and now has a large team in London as well as consultants working in EMEA and the US.

They are now looking for an experienced HR professional to join as HR Director, to lead in supporting and developing the culture to reach the next level in relation to their people and culture, to ensure a productive, motivated and happy workforce. You'll be working closely with highly motivated, brilliant business leaders who really see this person as someone working alongside that can support on everything people related.

In summary:

  • You will be working closely with the Board to strategically lead on the creation and implementation of the HR strategy, and how that supports the wider business strategy
  • You will oversee the day-to-day running of the HR function and identifyareas for improvements/efficiencies
  • You will lead on organisational development and career development routes
  • Line manage the HR team
  • Preparing HR budget to feed into Managing Partners
  • Ensuring strong HR communications on all people-related issues.
  • Working closely with the Senior Management team
  • Reward and benefits: manage benefits package to make sure that it is fit for purpose
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Manage and develop the inclusion and diversity roadmap with a focus on achieving measurable, sustainable results.

Requirments:

  • Degree: MCS/ MA in Business Management and/or HR Management
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent in working experience, 10+ years
  • Track Record in Senior Business Partnering and working with executive Leaders and partners
  • Experience in managing HR teams
  • Highly resourceful and strategic thinker with strong emotional intelligence, operational rigor, and project management capabilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills across functions and leadership teams. Comfortable in business and technical discussions.
  • Depth of understanding of the function's financials and ability to see opportunities for growth and returning shareholder value.
  • Professional Services experience is strongly desirable
  • Self-starter who thrives in a forward-thinking, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment

This firm are operating a hybrid working model, currently 3 days in the office and 2 remotely.
