Page Personnel HR are working with a manufacturing company in the Rochdale area who are seeking a Senior HR Officer to join a busy HR team on a permanent basis. The role is generalist and sits across different areas of the business. It will encompass recruitment, employee relations and project work.

The role is generalist and sits across different areas of the business. It will encompass recruitment, employee relations and project work.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Senior HR Officer role in Rochdale include:

  • Supporting on recruitment for multiple divisions across the business
  • Coaching line managers on all matter of HR issues
  • Leading on employee relations cases
  • Driving engagement initiatives for all colleagues
  • Supporting on any ad hoc projects

Profile

The successful Senior HR Officer should have:

  • Previous experience working in an HR environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to deal with a high volume of work
  • Experience coaching line managers
  • Understanding of change management
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate with various HR systems and MS Office

Job Offer

  • £30,000 - £40,000
  • 25 days annual leave
