Page Personnel HR are partnering with a business group in Chorley. They are recruiting for an HR Administrator to support and work closely with an HR Manager on a permanent basis. The role is generalist and will cover all aspects of HR in an administration capacity. The role offers fantastic exposure to areas such as employee relations and will sit across multiple industries.

Client Details

Our client are a well-established and successful group of businesses who are experiencing change. Their HR Manager is seeking additional support from an HR Administrator. They will work closely together to deliver a consistent and efficient HR service whilst completing several important projects for the group. The role is generalist and offers fantastic exposure for someone looking to kickstart their career in HR. Offices are based in Chorley.

Description

The key responsibilities for the HR Administrator role in Chorley are:

  • assisting with the daily running of the HR function
  • issuing offer letters, new starter documents and contracts
  • supporting the recruitment process
  • administering induction and onboarding processes
  • monitoring a shared in box and handling general queries
  • maintaining and updating records
  • liaising with payroll teams and supporting with payroll processing
  • supporting training programs and workshops
  • supporting with ad hoc project work

Profile

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • previous experience in or knowledge of HR functions
  • strong administration skills
  • computer literate with MS Office and in-house systems
  • a CIPD qualification or an interest in studying HR qualifications
  • excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • strong relationship building skills
  • meticulous attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
