We are currently recruiting for a UK Country lead to join our global client on a full-time permanent basis in White City (3 days office, 2 days home based)
 
UK HR Country Lead | White City | £80K | Supply Chain/Retail | Hybrid
 
Reporting to the European GM, you will lead a country team on all people related matters for their UK businesses, contributing to global projects and initiatives, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure the appropriate people strategy is in place supporting the business growth plans.
This is a broad generalist role, requiring strong commercial skills and a passion for business. You will be a true business partner, who likes to work autonomously and independently.
 
Commercially minded and numerically literate with the ability to understand budgets, manpower and payroll costs.
 
About the role
·Lead the HR/People function including line management responsibility for 4 direct reports.
·Providing HR/People and Culture advice, guidance, coaching, and support to UK based senior leaders.
·Identify, design, and execute a People and Culture programme incorporating all aspects of HR Management to meet business needs and be part of the business.
·Management of all talent acquisition, recruitment, selection and development processes including all related processes.
·Responsible for management information, payroll, and the management of employee records, both manually and electronically, including the maintenance of the (global) HR database.
·Managing employee relations, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and supporting the management of performance at all levels in the organization.
·Coordination and implementation of the Learning and Development initiatives across the UK Region, including identifying training needs and developing individual development plans.
·Review and maintain local and group police to ensure compliance with relevant local legislation.
·Communicating strategies across the regional area of responsibility
·Development and implementation of UK compensation and benefits programme.
 
About you
·CIPD qualified
·Proven experience in a generalist role in a fast-paced global or matrix environment - Essential
·Demonstrable experience of operating both strategically and operationally as this is very much a 'hands on' leadership role.
·Strong UK employment law knowledge and experience across the full employee lifecycle.
·You will have a real passion for HR a strong sense of ethics and a high level of integrity and demonstrate an unquestionable level of discretion and confidentiality.
·Positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels within the organisation and externally.
·Ability to collaborate and be able to work effectively as a part of a team or independently on your own initiative.
