Learning and Development Advisor - Birmingham

Highly competitive salary

12 month FTC

Oakleaf Partnership Midlands are partnering with an international professional services organisation to find an experienced L&D Advisor.

You will be an experienced L&D Advisor who can work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver multiple learning programmes.

This will be a hybrid role with 2 days on site per week in their Birmingham base with the rest worked remotely.

Duties:

  • Work closely with the Head of Learning and Development, UK and the Head of Talent Management to plan and deliver three programs each year (usually two in London and one in Washington, D.C.)
  • Supervise the Learning and Development Coordinator, ensuring that all their coordination and administration tasks are completed adequately for the program
  • Communicate with participants and internal faculty, including briefing partner sponsors, other contributing partners and coaches
  • Book and liaise with external contributors, including external coaches, actors and facilitators
  • Liaise with the Sales Transformation team in relation to the Sales Academy aspects of the program
  • Draft the timetable for each program and allocate participants and contributors to appropriate timeslots and groups
  • Update program materials and communications
  • Administer psychometric assessments
  • Brief the project team on their duties and responsibilities during the program
  • Manage the running of the in-person and virtual elements of the program itself, making sure that everything runs smoothly (including evening dinners)
  • Schedule program debriefs
  • Monitor submission of and review post-program Development Plans, communicating with coaches and participants as needed
  • Manage the budget for the program
