As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for engaging with candidates and clients, and successfully supporting both your clients and candidates with their job search / recruitment requirements.

Client Details

Page Personnel have partnered with one of our Public Sector clients, who specialise in executive recruitment for public sector, and local government organisations.
They are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join them on a full time, and permanent basis.


As a Recruitment Consultant you will:

  • Proactively identify and generate leads & effective client and associate relationships
  • Engage with clients and candidates through meetings, events and conferences
  • Respond efficiently to customer requests by taking on job briefs, providing key financial information, advising on the different services the organisation offers, and using the candidate database effectively to find suitable candidates for the customer
  • Identify and create opportunities to successfully promote the organisation, their products and their relevance through marketing and sales activities


The successful Recruitment Consultant will have:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role, ideally within a Public Sector / Not-For-Profit organisation
  • A detailed understanding of the public sector market, and more specifically local government, including the structure, the people, the role and function of a local authority, as well as emerging issues and the political landscape
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes

Job Offer

Full time + permanent role + Paying up to £29,000 + Wakefield based with good transport links + Excellent company benefits
