As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating on all recruitment for the UK Stations. You will lead on all hiring events across the UK ensuring we have the required resources to support the events, source the required marketing materials and ensuring that all candidates who attend have a positive experience.

The key responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist in Heathrow will be:

  • Working with the UK Team to ensure you have full visibility and understanding of headcount requirements across all Stations
  • Deliver a UK recruitment strategy for the business, ensuring peaks within the business are considered and headcount requirements are met
  • Posting job ads on all associated job boards, when required and monitoring the candidate journey from application through to hiring
  • Ensure consistent job advert templates are utilised across all Stations, which are on brand and in the required tone
  • Oversee the candidate journey, supporting all Stations in delivering a positive and timely recruitment process
  • Monitor and evaluate job posting responses and conversion rates, to ensure the most effective recruitment methods are used based on individual Station needs and local geography
  • Source candidates and develop local networks to deliver a candidate pipeline or talent pool of qualified candidates using a variety of resources including; direct sourcing, social media, network contacts, job boards, database searches, community outreach initiatives and referrals
  • Work with the Central Communication Team to maximise opportunities for UK vacancies to advertised across all social media platforms
  • Partner with the UK Management Team and HR Business Partners on the recruitment of all management positions across the UK, leading on the process when requested
  • Maintain effective communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Source, design and maintain stock of suitable marketing materials for all hiring events, ensuring each Station has the required resources available to them, within approved budgets
  • Depending on individual Station requirements and job roles, offer a rounded service including; pre-screening of candidates, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, send job offers and new hire paperwork
  • Support the Stations to achieve a high rate of candidate offer acceptance, whilst ensuring that candidates meet the specified requirements
  • Be the key point of contact for all job boards, recruitment agencies and any other suppliers as requested
  • Promote the company as an Employer of Choice, utilising opportunities to promote the brand whenever and wherever possible
  • Manage the UK Glassdoor account, ensuring regular reviews and reporting of the platform
  • Provide weekly reports to all Stations and the UK Management Team on recruitment progress being made
  • Ensure compliance to recruitment policies, processes, and procedures
  • Work with the UK HR Team to support the reduction of attrition across the business
  • Travel to other stations - 1/2 times a week at peak season or normal season on ad hoc basis (expenses covered)


The successful Talent Acquisition Specialist in Heathrow will have:

  • Proven experience within a similar role is essential
  • Previous experience of delivering recruiting tasks with the focus to achieve or exceed desired staffing levels on a regular and consistent basis
  • Proven ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, HR, and candidates
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Good team player
  • Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills and a good eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at different levels
  • Experience of working in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • Experience of dealing with work of a confidential and sensitive nature
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
