Payroll & Benefits Manager - £70k to £80k + Bonus - Herts

A leading Insurance Firm are looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to head up and own their current UK payroll offering outright.

This is a brand-new role reporting directly into the HR Director and will look after 4 UK payrolls plus be the lead on their mid/long-term expansion into EMEA.

Please note: My client offers an agile working pattern of 1 to 2 days in the office and 3 to 4 days working from home.

The role:

  • Manage the payroll and benefits for PIMS including processing and delivering the monthly payroll and processing the pension payments to pension providers on time and with a high level of accuracy
  • Managing the monthly payroll process for currently two entities, moving to four as of the end of the year and then looking at more entities short and long term
  • Managing the payroll integration onto our provider for other companies - ADP is our chosen payroll provider. First migration (very small) to take place in November
  • Supporting the benefits strategy
  • Managing the relationship and delivery of benefits providers
  • Ensuring benefits payments contributions/payments processed on a monthly basis through payroll
  • Supporting the process to harmonise terms with other providers in 2023
  • Supporting the integration of ADP with our new HR system, Sage People when this happens
    managing payments to expats and employees working internationally but for the Group in the UK.

Additonal information:

  • Sole role reporting into the HR & Communications Director
  • Looking after a UK payroll of 300 employees plus a number of new employees due to acquisitions
  • Will be looking to grow further within the UK but also EMEA
  • Vendor Management with ADP iHCM
  • Someone to take ownership of the benefits negotiations, renewals, and benchmarking
  • Someone who can be agile with their growth plans and take control of TUPE plus opening new EMEA jurisdictions (take the lead)
  • Strong business partner
