Senior EMEA Payroll Specialist £65k + Bonus - City

A leading Investment firm based in the city seek an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist to join their current team of 2.

This is a brand-new role Reporting into the Global Payroll Manager and will take control of a number of existing EMEA Payrolls plus play a key role in all new payroll jurisdictions as my client continue to grow.

This is a very exciting time to join my client as they grow their EMEA and Global payroll offering exponentially.

Please note: My client offers an agile working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

The role:

• Responsible for the timely preparation of all payrolls in France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Norway, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and Netherlands.
• Assist in the preparation of the UK payrolls as and when required.
• Liaising with external payroll providers to ensure speedy resolution of issues and continuous improvement.
• First point of contact for employee questions about their pay.
• Maintain payroll processing system and records.
• Ensure that correct payments, reports and returns are made to tax authorities across EMEA, APAC.
• Key role in projects to streamline/automate the payroll processes by identifying improvements and implementing changes.
• Assist with the new HRIS and Payroll Transformation projects.
• Provide expert advice on payroll related matters.
• Other ad-hoc projects.

Experience & skills:

• Must have strong EMEA payroll experience across a number of EMEA/global jurisdictions
• Must have intermediate Excel skills
• Must have strong payroll systems exposure
• High levels of attention to detail
• Strong communication skill set internal/external
• Be a team player
